Dr. Xiang is co-director of The Ohio State University Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s (CTSI) Pilot Translational Clinical Studies Program, a tenured professor at Ohio State’s College of Medicine and the founding director of the Center for Pediatric Trauma Research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Xiang has been at the forefront of developing strategies to reduce injuries and violence, particularly focusing on improving public health outcomes. His research has advanced scientific knowledge and influenced policy and practice on both national and global scales, particularly in the area of pediatric injury prevention.
