Research Support Series: NIH Topics of the Day, Dealing with Change
Join us for the first session in the 2025 Research Support Series, focused on the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Hear from the experts and leaders on campus and within the College of Medicine for a discussion, Q&A and sharing of resources.

Topics will include: University use of Direct versus Indirect costs (aka: facilities and administrative, F&A) from granting agencies, overview of the Grants Management Office (GMO) in the College of Medicine and university-level Office Sponsored Program (OSP), how to navigate an NIH cut to your budget or a no-cost extension (NCE), recent executive order impacts to NIH funding, changes to NIH grant writing strategy in 2025 and beyond and NIH support opportunities and resources on campus. The Research Support Series will run monthly from April through most of the year and is brought to you by FAME, College of Medicine Office of Research and the Research Development Office (ERIK).
